![]() ![]() In this guide, we will first look at the settings you need to set in G HUB, if playing on a PC. It's better to lower the settings and get more useful information through the wheel, than it is to just have it feel heavy all the time. At that point, you no longer get any information about the track or car. Unfortunately, these lower-end wheels can only put out so much power before they are completely overwhelmed. In real life, this would be felt through g-forces and the shaking of the car. Thankfully, these issues are easily corrected by applying the right settings.Ī lot of people mistakenly believe that maximizing the force feedback settings means the force feedback is more "realistic." The true purpose of the force feedback is to give you information about the track surface and how much grip the tires have. The default force feedback settings have the vibrations set way too high, making these wheels sound like they are about to break apart when you hit a kerb. The steering angle, in particular, needs to be set properly for the game to be even playable. Unfortunately, much like earlier games in the series, the default settings for the Logitech G29 or G920 don't do the game, or the wheel, justice. If you are one or two tenths faster on average I doesn't matter if you also makes too many mistakes on average with that preset.Best F1 2021 Wheel Settings for Logitech G29 / G920 J| Filed under: Logitechį1 2021 plays really well with a wheel once it is configured properly. Also remember that you cannot go on lap time alone. A simple answer to this in most of those cases is that I adjusted my wheel settings and it (plus practice) made me slightly quicker, and I have not the patience to run all tracks again. Yes some Optional times are faster that the main ones. I've finished my testing of presets for each track. Perhaps someone quicker and more consistent driver can provide a better list. On some tracks I could have done better times, such as Hockenheim, but on most it's close enough to what I would expect. ![]() So instead of trying to compile a list I will simply list all tracks and the two best presets, and I will leave it others to decide what to choose. After testing all tracks I still don't know what to choose on half of them. On some tracks I've found that two settings gives very similar lap times. I have not yet thoroughly tested all tracks so may post a future update when I've done so.Īlso not sure when wet but at least increase downforce one step, but perhaps even two on some tracks (if possible of course)? I have to get back on that as well. The list is a compilation of information I manage to gather from different sources and my own testing. A list of what preset to choose on the different tracks. This is another topic I had a very hard time finding any information on.
